December 12

We are entering the halfway point of the second marking period at Cliffside Park High School. Progress reports will be open and available on the student portal over the next few days. Students are reminded that attendance and late to class is tied to performance. Students who exceed 12 absences, excused or unexcused, in a class will not receive credit. Students who exceed 18 will have privileges revoked. Students are to remain in class and are responsible for work. If there is improvement in attendance, credit will be awarded. Additionally, students late to class lose 2 points for every late. Students late to class have decreased significantly on a monthly basis compared to last year. We hope to see continued decreases in the number of students late to class, resulting in students in class longer and improved performance. Lawrence C. Pinto, Principal

Congratulations to Ms. Romano and the Maker Team. They were recognized as one of five State Finalists for the Samsung Solve for Tomorrow Contest. Best of luck as they compete to represent their concept on the national level.
